  • A doula is a person that provides physical and emotional help to the family before, during and after the birth of the baby. These people are not qualified in any clinical care. A doula will be helping you in finding the appropriate childbirth class, learn helpful birthing techniques and some other activities that you can do before giving a birth. They will help you with a labour support at home before you go to the hospital. So, the majority of their work is to cover you with emotional stability and good mood while you are carrying a baby. Some doulas can follow you while you are on your way to the hospital before the labour. However, you won’t be able to rely on them, if some complications occur.
